The tools in Server Management in Database Administration enable you to control the SQL Server instances you use with Sage 100 Contractor easily and efficiently.
Creating a SQL Server instance
If you need to create a new SQL Server instance (for example, if you want to move your Sage 100 Contractor archive companies to a different drive on your computer), use this tool to create a new SQL Server instance. When you use this tool to create a new instance, the program configures the instance using the settings that Sage 100 Contractor requires.
Moving Sage 100 Contractor companies to a different SQL Server instance
Use this procedure if you want to move your companies to a different SQL Server instance on the same computer. (For example, you might want to keep your current and archive companies in separate instances.)
Removing a SQL Server instance
Use this tool to to remove a SQL Server instance (for example, if you have moved your Sage 100 Contractor companies to a different drive on your computer, and now need to delete the original instance, or if you create an instance in error).
Moving data to a new drive
Use this procedure if you want to move all your Sage 100 Contractor data to a different drive on the same computer. (For example, you would do this if you want to host your data on a faster, bigger drive than the one you are currently using.)
Enabling mobile apps
